What is a U Network Chapter?
- A chapter is a subgroup of peers within a U Network group who meet to hold discussions pertaining to shared interests or goals.
- Chapter are peer-led. While one person typically takes ownership of collecting topics, setting meetings, and facilitating chapter sessions as needed, all members should contribute to generating topics and goals and should consider owning any topics of interest or expertise.
- Network members are encouraged to join a Chapter. The goal of the program is to eventually get each member of a U Network group involved in a Chapter focused on an initiative they are passionate about.
- Members who elect to join a U Network group but not a Chapter can leverage the platform to connect individually with other members, access general resources, and attend webinars/events shared with the entire group.
What is a U Network Leader?
- Network Leaders are individuals who help drive engagement among members within the group.
- These individuals will be responsible for tracking the goal implementation of each U Network Circle for which they are responsible.
- As a Network Leader, you will act as a liaison between USI's U Network members and the Corporate Employee Engagement Team.
- Network Leaders will help determine the frequency of events, meetings, and resources needed to achieve their Chapter’s goals.
- The expected time commitment for Leaders is two to five hours per month, depending on the goals of the Chapter.
U Network Leaders Must Have:
- A proven track record of strong performance and a particular set of skills or expertise.
- Great communication skills and the ability to provide feedback, coaching, and resources in their area of expertise.
- A strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and team building
